Likewise, consume ever more sugar, salt, cholesterol, junk, crap, processed, toxic, plastic packaged, "fast food" and drink, wasted calories and resources.

And, tons of refuse, sewer waste, and, garbage behind it all.

Possessions which possess their owners, buy, shop, spend, work, eat, consume, do, diversionary entertainment, Bread and Circuses, MORE, MORE, MORE.

So, choices, trajectories, obstacles, impediments, are 100% CLEAR.

As I say in previous posts, it is a matter of which comes first, or, perhaps, more accurately, together combine synergistically.

Species extinction, annihilation, due to accelerated man made climate change, global warming, and human disaster and/or humongous volcanic eruptions, plate tectonics, solar flares, storms, floods, drought, endemic plague, malnutrition, disease, sickness, water supply, fires, etc.

A nice evolutionary experiment we are/were, but, perhaps, a relatively short lived one ultimately failing, imploding, exploding, by virtue of our own inherent economic social contradictions, i.e., roads not taken.

From MY point of view, extinction is shameful, wasteful, BECAUSE only within the last couple or so hundred years humanity reached an apex, zenith, of natural science and cosmological understanding, peering from a precipice, vantage point, to many more possible exciting, exhilarating, discoveries IF our species and its resources manage to survive long enough to experience it/them.

If I could live another 100 or so years it would be for the preceding reason.

BUT, alas, while natural science may reach an apex, corresponding SOCIAL SCIENCE intentionally and profoundly gets ignored, disregarded, distorted, contorted, obscured, polluted, by the very same people and commercial interests funding science jobs, careers, research, writing, etc.

A discordant note, lag time, rate of change, exists between two sciences and their underlying organization, principles, and, application.

I decided to share this anecdote as examplary entertainment for those living in NAZI occupied Alice in Wonderland Through a Looking Glass Darkly DICTATORSHIP.

Ironically, last night, I received an AUTOMATED phone call from one or another business presumably claiming to do independent Presidential election surveys, polls.
It does not matter WHO they are/were.
They are exemplary.

Only 4 or 5 questions asked, for which one answered by pressing either a Yes or No response, #1 or 2 digits, on my telephone dial.

First, sex--that is, female or male.
Then, age group--again, 4 or 5 categories from which to choose.
Next, do you consider yourself, registered as, Democrat, Republican OR Independent.
I pressed an allocated number for Independent.

Here comes the GOOD part.
Next question; are you more likely to vote Obooma or Romney.
NO OTHER CHOICE GIVEN, DESPITE THE FACT I PRESSED INDEPENDENT.
I waited awhile to see IF something else would happen after NOT pressing either button.
NOTHING ELSE HAPPENED.
Same message/question repeated ad infinitum.

I then concluded IF I wanted to find out what was the last question, then, I would be FORCED to press one or another digit, or, most likely, I would simply be cut off, since this survey is/was AUTOMATED--no live human being at the opposite end.
A Hobson's dilemma.
I will not tell you which one I pressed IN ORDER TO GET TO THE LAST QUESTION.

The last question being, words to the effect, more or less, Do you approve of Obooma?

I recall, SOMETIME BACK, after USSR dissolution but prior to or just after 9/11 events, attending a lecture about one or another ARCANE subject matter, and, as part of a concluding question and answer period, someone posited a speculative scenario to which the academic speaker/author confidently, most assuredly, promised, guaranteed, prognosticated, words more or less to the effect, as best I can recall, paraphrased:

But, IF MY INITIAL hypothesis stands correct, NO trial to ensue.
Instead, Holmes to be declared INSANE, INCOMPETENT, thus, unable to stand trial.
