A MUSICAL INTERLUDE, RETROSPECTIVE

A brief, refreshing, musical interlude, retrospective, reminiscence.

I happened the other day to be reminded of a 1940s musical GENRE, the BIG BAND era.
It would be nice, thought I, to resuscitate Big Band on a daily, weekly basis.
Big Band being essentially, but, not limited to, dance music.
Some of it not so great, but, some of it wonderful, like that below.

Unfortunately, I could NOT find an original version of Cole's "Topsy Part I and II" anywhere on youtube so I settled for something as CLOSE as I could get.
