I lapsed posting for the past few days since I/we living in United Suckers and Assholes Alice in Wonderland Through a Looking Glass Darkly currently are treated, enthralled, enchanted by political partisan posturing, grandstanding, threats, hysterics, bickering, theatrics "TO INCREASE OR NOT, THAT IS THE QUESTION," our national DEBT, possible "default," another round of bogus stimulus monies, i.e, PRIVATE-PUBLIC taxpayer boondoggles, partnerships, gifts, giveaways, subsidies, tax increases and/or supposed "austerity" measures.

I will return to the above subject matter, DEBT, but, first, while preoccupied by domestic entertainment, what else happened in other Lands of Oz and the latest TV soap opera episode "As the World Turns?"

Now, returning to DEBT.
An article about Greek DEBT below states correctly, and, I paraphrase, it is all HOCUS-POCUS, PAPER, VIRTUAL reality, magic, as good as capacities to enforce policies one way or another.
HISTORICALLY PRIVATELY HELD DEBT WAS REPUDIATED, ELIMINATED, WIPED OUT, ANNULLED, ANNIHILATED, ENFORCED AND/OR RENEGOTIATED MANY TIMES OVER, depending on circumstance.
JUST RECENTLY, IRAQ DEBT FORGIVENESS became a political on and off again football, depending for whom and which purposes and circumstances.
When it comes to the US, increased DEBT spending formerly happened quietly with merely a stroke of the pen.
Now, instead, it becomes political football season for an upcoming Presidential election campaign.
A bargaining chip, tool.
The outcome, GOALS, predetermined, one and the SAME, a foregone conclusion.
It's just WHO AND HOW they get there being bantered about, the road taken.
A perception problem.
