Magically, STRIKING Philadelphia PUBLIC TWU (TRANSIT WORKERS UNION) REACHED A TENTATIVE AGREEMENT IN THE WEE, EARLY, OVERNITE, HOURS OF THIS MONDAY MORNING, TODAY, BEFORE ANY INJUNCTION OR CLINTON RALLY TO ENSUE!!
STRIKE OVER!
BARGAINING FINISHED!
DONE, KAPUT!
A miracle!
A surprise!

The history and establishment of a NOTORIOUSLY POLITICAL FBI US (Federal Bureau of Information, or, Disinformation) being another matter for those truly interested in researching the subject.

Anyway, my earlier predictions on THIS particular matter, transit strike, fulfilled, along with most others, alas.

I imagine, in MY lifetime, NEVER will another "public" transit strike occur, BECAUSE, bit by bit, inch by inch, all jobs to be outsourced, private competition, and/or, current "benefits" to DISAPPEAR along with our unions.

ALREADY, many jobs, services, of what nominally they classify as PUBLIC transportation are OUTSOURCED TO PRIVATE CONTRACTORS, taxpayer dollars subsidizing PRIVATE business, i.e., public/private partnerships!

Our unions, of course, do NOTHING about such processes except help them along.
