THE GODZILLA VIRUS

For those too young to understand Godzilla reference, above, this FILM represents, perhaps, the most famous of a whole slew of inexpensive, "grade B (C, D, F)," horror movies featuring gargantuan lizards, reptiles, prehistoric and/or outer space beings, monsters, etc., made in the 1950s, generated, in part, by fear of unknown consequences of what then was EXTENSIVE NUCLEAR, ATOMIC, fallout, testing, explosions, another man made not-so-Cold War environmental disaster.

ONLY for those unfamiliar with reference above I link to a few CLIPS, below, from Godzilla giving one a flavor of this genre.

Actually, it is/was quite entertaining, amusing, precisely BECAUSE of its simplicity for what passed then as SPECIAL EFFECTS.
Supposed to be scary, frightening, but, NOW, at least, one might consider it "schlock" having entertainment value, a technical, cinematic, PERIOD piece:

So fast forward to present day, as omnipotent, virile, deadly, GODZILLA virus, PANDEMIC, lurks, stalks, simultaneously everywhere and no where, omnipotent, unseen, under your bed, in books, stores, air, groceries, you name it, just waiting to pounce, manifest itself, kill all, or, many of us, conveniently popping up again and again, when necessary, in different political venues, like bedbugs, or, prolific 1950s ANTI-Communists under your bed, part of U.S. Cold War 1950s Congressional McCarthy period witch hunts, purges, scare.

I hate to reiterate, regurgitate, the obvious, but, it seems necessary, unfortunately.
Microorganisms in ABUNDANCE, plentiful, billions of them, exist EVERYWHERE on our planet.
Don't know NUMBERS??
Trillions, billions??
Our natural environment is not, NEVER will be, STERILE. 
Some of these microorganisms are GOOD, some not, for us.
Indeed, microorganisms, bacteria, virus, it is generally agreed, are/were the origins of life on this planet, to remain so until our sun gobbles us up or another major asteroid event occurs blowing up planet Earth, perhaps.
Microorganisms serve a/their purpose for life on Planet Earth.
We live, cohabit, for better or worse, together.

Man made toxic chemicals, as well, poison, pollute, proliferate, in our industrial and supposed "food" production, large scale agriculture, distribution, military, medical, environmental, systems, water, land, air.
And, of course, WAR, poverty, malnutrition, and so on, contribute to disease, compromised immune systems, ill, bad, health.

ONE prominent example, a well known medical CONSEQUENCE from liberal OVERUSE of antibiotics  both in agriculture, animal husbandry, AND, medical facilities, was/is COMMON KNOWLEDGE, PRIOR to current Godzilla Virus descending on Planet Earth, namely, that U.S. hospitals are to be AVOIDED, IF POSSIBLE, BECAUSE staph infections rage and NO known antibiotic can deal with these infections.
They are resistant to everything "we" throw at them.


So, MASKS really REPRESENTS NOTHING BUT A POLITICAL GAG ORDER.
Just look at them for what REALLY they PHYSICALLY depict, represent!!

However, IF one FEELS better, safer, PSYCHOLOGICALLY, with a mask, then, so be it.
Wear one.

THAT BEING A PERSONAL CHOICE, NOT STATE MANDATED!!

Mandated social ISOLATION another FASCIST POLITICAL/ECONOMIC SYMPTOM of social decay, systemic collapse.

The REAL issue, however, being NEITHER of 2 above, which, basically, are palliative, symbolic, but, STATE MANDATED BUSINESS, SCHOOL, INSTITUTIONAL, OFFICE, CLOSURES, with their SUDDEN death, upheaval, like an EARTHQUAKE, DISASTER, massive unemployment, bankruptcies, dislocations, financial, emotional, personal, HEALTH, distress, insecurity, vulnerability, SYSTEMIC anxiety, fear, turmoil, shock, (shocking and awful), and, so on.

NO amount of money actually replaces YEARS, MONTHS, TIME, BUSINESSES, EDUCATION, LIVES, EXPERIENCES, YOUNG, OLD, IN BETWEEN, LOST forever!!
FOR NO GOOD REASON!!
THAT BEING THE MAIN POINT!!

Common sense, personal hygiene, awareness, hand washing, education, public INFORMATION about ALL communicable diseases, symptoms, good nutrition, adequate housing, water, employment, sick pay, leave, vacation, medical facilities, followup, ALL being factors, part of a greater health care package, WELL KNOWN, also encompassing REAL, NOT FAKE, epidemiology, which CAN/COULD/SHOULD be PROMOTED ALL THE TIME.

Instead, FEAR MONGERING, GODZILLA PANDEMIC VIRUS, STATE MANDATED SYSTEMIC DISRUPTION, DISLOCATION, SHUTDOWN, AS ABOVE, NOT TO PROMOTE HEALTH but FOR ENTIRELY DIFFERENT, UNSTATED, REASONS.

"I/we am/are doing this FOR YOUR OWN GOOD," a wife beater, or, abuser, says to his or her spouse, family.

I really do NOT wish to repeat it all.
It gets tiresome, redundant.

Instead, continuing my medical analogy, a rancid, toxic, ECONOMIC system, like a decomposing carcass, corpse, for the past 100 or so years  being constantly resuscitated on artificial life support systems, preserved, maintained, embalmed, mummified.
A REAL zombie!!

This time with ABOVE Godzilla pandemic/virus and EVER GREATER, LARGER, BOTTOMLESS PIT OF STIMULUS, STIMULUS, STIMULUS MONIES FROM PRIVATELY OWNED FEDERAL RESERVE REPRESENTING TAXPAYER BAILOUT, BAILOUT, BAILOUTS!!

Everyone knows what ultimately happens to decomposing bodies.

THAT REPRESENTS our REAL SOCIAL ILLNESS, DISEASED STATES, MORBID PATHOLOGY, DIAGNOSIS, MOST CURRENT SYMPTOMS of ALIENATION, DECAY, DECOMPOSITION, STATE MANDATED PANDEMIC, ADDING MILLIONS to DEATH, POVERTY, DESPAIR, DISLOCATION, SACRIFICE, DISASTER, literally OVER NITE, HEAPED UPON that already existing over 100 or so years, thru 2 World WARS, multiple WARS thereafter, too many endless, ceaseless, deaths, coups, torture, to enumerate.
