However, the Univ of Pa ALSO represents one of the city's largest PRIVATE REAL ESTATE DEVELOPERS mostly expensive housing.

U of P also being a recipient of FEDERAL TAXPAYER SUBSIDIES, research grants, largesse, in the many millions.
