In keeping with Holiday Cheer, I decided to post one amateur email I received recently below as a SMALL contribution to more slick, professional, Holiday parodies, those done about Greece-Germany, EURO Land.
A fellow, name at the end, rewrote lyrics to a very well known, popular, little Xmas tune, song, ditty, with which, HOPEFULLY, all familiar: "Silver Bells."
(See BOTTOM of post for a YOUTUBE link, "Silver Bells," just in case you do NOT know it.)

So, here is HIS rendition of this popular tune.
Sing HIS lyrics to accompaniment of "Silver Bells":
SILVER BELLS WAR IS HELL
City sidewalks
Busy sidewalks
City sidewalks
Broken sidewalks
Dressed in holiday style
Dressed in death's own special style
In the air
In the air
There's a feeling
Bombs are flying
of Christmas in wartime
Children laughing
Children crying
People passing
People dying
Meeting smile after smile
Refugees fleeing
mile by mile
And on every street corner you'll hear
And on every street corner you'll hear
Silver bells silver bells
War is Hell! War is Hell!
It's Christmas time in the city
It's combat time in the city
Ring a ling hear them ring
Sirens sing, bullets zing
Soon it will be Christmas day
Soon it will be total silence
Strings of street lights
Burned out buildings
Even stop lights
At the stop points
Blink a bright red and green
Blood is bright red at the scene
As the shoppers rush
As the people rush home with their treasures
Home to take measures
Hear the snow crunch
Hear the boots crunch
See the kids bunch
See the kids hunch
This is Santa's big scene
This is America's big scene
And above all this bustle
And above all the tank noise
You'll hear
You'll hear
Silver bells, silver bells
War is Hell! War is Hell!
It's Christmas time in the city
We are invading the city
Ring-a-ling, hear them ring
See the rockets, hear them scream
Soon it will be Christmas day
Soon it will be Christmas day.
