ABOUT THAT GREEK REFERENDUM & AN EAGLE GROUP OF IRAQ UPDATE

Two seemingly unrelated subjects for today's post.
But, of course, ALL very much interrelated, incestuous.

GREECE FIRST

Aside from many pertinent comments on the above at various Greek English websites I follow, Papandreou's CLEVERLY worded Greek referendum, another YES or NO vote, reminded me of OUR State, Local, city, municipal, BALLOT QUESTIONS USUALLY which say something LIKE, paraphrasing, more or less:

"Do you want to fund millions more $X for roads, parks, schools, construction, all things for PUBLIC good with PRIVATELY BORROWED money, LOANS, DEBT, BONDS authorized and issued by whichever local CITY/STATE/MUNICIPALITY government sponsors it?"

Altho not specified on the ballot, construction CONTRACTS go to PRIVATE, NOT PUBLICLY OWNED, CORPORATIONS.

In almost ALL cases, HERE, the ballot question/s are located IN SMALL PRINT SOMEWHERE AT THE BOTTOM OF, IN A CORNER, A MUCH LARGER ELECTRONIC SCREEN, so, one must search assiduously on many ballot issues to cast a vote.

It is very simple and easy to overlook such question/s on any electronic electoral ballot form here.
Generally, they get little if any pre-election day publicity, attention, fanfare.
IF SUCH BALLOT QUESTION GETS ANY ENDORSEMENT, IT ALWAYS COMES FROM FASCIST LABOR UNIONS AND THEIR EQUALLY BOGUS LIBERAL ENDORSERS!!
After all, how can one vote against motherhood.
YES OR NO??
A sort of Hobson's dilemma.
Maybe Papandreou's inspiration comes from such clever US electoral Halloween trick or treat ballot questions.
In which case, Papandreou being a clever man himself learned his lesson well HERE.
Good breeding and proper tutelage.

NEXT, BUT, BY NO MEANS LAST, THE EAGLE GROUP OF IRAQ

I did MANY earlier posts on an above named MURKY entity called, The Eagle Group of Iraq, THEN PARTNERED WITH CANADA OWNED Mr. 5% GULBENKIAN of former, privately owned, Iraq Oil Company consortium fame and now newly minted HERITAGE OIL IN KURDISTAN.
Heritage as everybody knows following my posts went through multiple transformations since then.
Leaving aside Heritage permutations, I WANT TO THANK SOMEONE WHOM I SHALL LEAVE NAMELESS for providing me with MORE information, CLUES, regarding precisely WHO is the MYSTERIOUS EAGLE GROUP OF IRAQ, formerly partnered with Heritage Oil.
I ALSO speculated, at that time, it MUST be either Barzani and/or Talabani.
Well, MY suspicions APPEAR confirmed.
Apparently, the Eagle Group of Iraq represents a large investment CONGLOMERATE in Erbil owning, connected or affiliated to/with the Emerald Bank of Iraq, an airport, some communications, infrastructure and real estate projects, developments.
Eagle Group of Iraq conglomerate Board members include, amongst a few others, someone named Sakvan FARHAN whom I SEARCHED and found as former Kurdish Regional Emergency Coordinator (*see link at the bottom) and Sadar BARZANI and the COMPANY apparently earns about $50 MILLION MONTHLY,
AGAIN, ACCORDING TO AN INDEPENDENT SOURCE PROVIDING ME THE PRECEDING INFORMATION, clues.
Now, I can NOT verify or CONFIRM what are TO ME new facts presented above.
When going to an Emerald Bank of Iraq website, for example, I do NOT find PUBLISHED, LISTED, the names mentioned above.
That does NOT mean the information is inaccurate.
Simply difficult to verify, hidden, intentionally obscure, and, as well, PRECISELY from whence and how their income derives, ownership, investment, amounts, accounting, etc.
So, all can do some further research if you wish.

A homework assignment.

A murky named Eagle Group of Iraq continues being so, but, with new questions, leads and abit more transparency fleshed out now, thanks to someone else's independent reseach.

For those UNFAMILIAR with my subject matter and many posts about an interwoven Heritage Oil, Gulbenkian, the murky Eagle Group of Iraq, etc., for SIMPLICITY purposes and background I provide ONE reference link below from a 2004 Heritage Oil Company statement which encapsulates it nicely in a nutshell:
