Why?

Because they are PART and parcel, also, OF IT/A/OUR DEFUNCT, BARBARIC, REPTILIAN, BESTIAL ECONOMIC, POLITICAL, SYSTEM of primitive, private, capital accumulation and greed.

They shut up because IF they offer more critically concrete, SPECIFIC, directly targeted, solutions they lose jobs, funding, monies, publication, etc., not wanting to bite, confront, contradict, a NAZI state corporate hand which feeds them all, thus, OBLIQUELY approaching what they KNOW true answers in order to IMPLEMENT SIGNIFICANT, IMPERATIVE, FUNDAMENTAL GLOBAL CHANGE, realignment and rebalance inherently unequal, historically inherited, collective, production, consumption and distribution patterns.
