US TROOPS LEAVE NEW YORK, ENTER NEW JERSEY, PRIVATE MERCENARIES DOUBLE & SOUTH AFRICA

My heading above represents a paraphrased parody of our US Iraq headlines as a token gesture of US military troops exit Iraq for immediate, next door, adjacent Kuwait, TV gets a few good photo ops, 50,000 US troops remain, private mercenary contractors double in size to fill the gap, politically expedient for November midterm elections, and, the Middle East REMAINS a consistent, ACTIVE, EXPLOSIVE, MILITARIZED VOLCANIC WAR ZONE, escalating arms race, not to mention Caucasus through to forgotten Yugoslavia, Africa and the rest of the entire EURASIAN land mass.
But, hey, a few US troops exited Iraq.
A photo op.
Whoopee doo!
Time to celebrate.
Toast and break out the champagne.
As our present cardboard, paper mache, empty, bobble headed, vacuous, Commander in Chief, present puppet Obooma President, follows the lead of former pickle brained Commander in Chief BUSH:
"End of Combat, Mission Accomplished!"
Oh, yeah???!!!

SOUTH AFRICA

Meanwhile, apropos, in honor of a major, significant COSATU STRIKE occuring as I write, I happened upon an interesting book review about South Africa's ANC and post apartheid history, so, I thought I would share it.
As readers know, I did a few previous entries regarding South Africa's current billionaire and former COSATU leader, Cyril Ramaphosa, and, South Africa's newly formed Encha Energy Group as well as a few additional personal anecdotes.
Unfortunately, I cannot recall details surrounding, as cited below in the book review, CHRIS HANI'S assassination.
I draw a blank as I struggle from deep within my mind's recesses to retrieve specific associations, memories regarding Hani's killing.
But, to no avail.
Perhaps, something will bubble up to consciousness at a later moment.
However, the narrative, patterns and techniques described below are typical, assassination, smear campaigns, bribery, sell out and off, etc.
And, of course, in a previous post I did, (**link follows) two personal anecdotal narrations and a rumination about USSR dissolution FIRST, and, then, immediately subsequent upon its heels, So Africa's apartheid regime collapse.
