THE LITTLE OIL AUCTION THAT COULD NOT AND WHAT ERDOGAN DISCUSSED

Although the following is great humor, as everybody knows, good satire represents truth and this one definitely contains kernels, nuggets of what I suspect was on the agenda in my previous post, below, about Turkey's US Ambassador's sudden, unexpected resignation, his exclusion from high level talks (forget slave boy and vacuous idiot Obooma, I mean President Hillary Clinton) AND following my previous report about Turkey's military PROMISE, garauntee to invade Kurdistan should an independent, contested Kurdistan/Kirkuk battle loom and Iraq's fragmentation, AND, occurring almost simultaneously with all the above, the Little Iraq Oil Auction, a la The Little Engine That Thought It COULD...
"I think I can, I think I can..."
Here's a slightly MODIFIED, updated, revised and VERY APROPOS version in this instance of The Little Engine That Could children's nursery rhyme, ditty, in case you are unfamiliar with it:

So, much hoopla and ado about nothing.
For many/most of the areas auctioned in Iraq there were NO BIDDERS.
And, for those few like China and Shell, for example, I would suggest you or they NOT take your or their money to the bank yet.

NOTHING permanent, resolved UNTIL IRAQ'S SO-CALLED ELECTIONS AND/OR CHANGE OF GOVERNMENT BOTH IN IRAQ AND IRAN.
All remains contested STILL and Defense Secy Gates ALSO made a hurried appearance in Iraq, assuring everyone the US Air Force will stay INDEFINITELY.

But, all parties concerned go through the empty motions, gestures, procedures, pretense, as if nothing changed.
That is merely a PR hat trick, diversion, propaganda, the magician's sleight of hand, especially since United Suckers and Assholes do not even know where, who, how and why they are fighting.
They have NOT A CLUE.
But, they are not the only ones in this world, apparently.
As a reminder, my 85 year old friend utters the slogan to me repeated ad nauseum here to lull and reassure the peasants, "Peace In Our Time," as WWII raged overseas and then Japan bombed Pearl Harbor:
