Russia's Lukoil, amongst others, SUPPOSEDLY, wins a concession ON PAPER in NAZI occupied Iranian Baghdad Oil Minister Sistani's son-in-law, Shahristani's, most recent "auction."
The word auction, alone, should pique one's attention and incredulity.
PAPER is the word that represents the extent of their "win/contract" in this "auction."
When was the last time you heard of an "auction" for valuable natural assets, resources, such as these/those above?
And, of course, it has been noted by a few pundits, US firms were mysteriously and conspicuously absent, missing from action.
Wonder why??
Maybe they know something??
SIMULTANEOUS to Iran's Baghdad Oil Ministry bogus PR "auction," here's what else is happening regarding Lukoil, with some additional questions floating about as to whether or not ConocoPhillips will sell some of their shares in Lukoil.
Maybe they will "auction," instead of sell:

Then, MOST IMPORTANT regarding LEFT IS RIGHT
The following is an EXCERPT from my OWN post of February 20, 2008, to which I will link below.
Although I quote myself, below, THE NUMBERED POLITICAL RESOLUTIONS I mention are MUST reading, not optional.
Because links and text on the internet have a tendency to disappear, this time around, in this entry, for reference, I actually posted the full text of the numbered items just below the link, which I did NOT do in my previous entry of February 20, 2008, just in case the entire link or text changes or disappears somehow. A sort of insurance policy.
Of course, if you wish, as an exercise, you can go backwards, afterwards and read through all the usual knee jerk rhetoric and jargon, not only the resolutions I itemized.
Aside from being illustrative, there is a particular REASON for my reference NOW back to this earlier entry.
This SAME group and Ramsey Clark, apparently, NOW are courting Syria's Baath Party!!
So, this fits precisely, directly into the Iraq/Iran regime change scenario I have been following all along.
The above/below will turn on a dime and suddenly, PRESTO, their "official" rhetoric and line will change and you will now have a newly minted Baath Arab government of some sort in Iraq, most likely, those I have named in previous posts, MINUS, of course, socialized, nationalized industries and resources.
They will help whitewash EVERYTHING and rewrite history, including their own role, of course, and advance the cause of reactionary, counter-revolutionary PRIVATIZATION, but, it will be called nationalist, instead, UNDER GUISE OF LEFT/OPPOSITION rubric, empty, meaningless rhetoric, jargon, sloganeering, jingo, devoid of SUBSTANCE.
So, excerpt from my previous post, February 20, 2008 :
"...Ramsey Clark, as noted, is/was attached to the "Left" International Action Center, here, in the US, and, they, in turn, to the ANSWER coalition in the US, which sponsors lots of demonstrations.
Just this past year, only a few months ago, in November 27-29, 2007, the same Ramsey Clark was THE US representative and, apparently, from what I read, President, at an international "Anti-Imperialist Forum" in India.
I want to draw EVERYONE'S attention to the "political resolutions" adopted at this presumed Left international forum, approximately half or two thirds down the text, note especially, those "political resolutions" #3, #4 and #5, (supporting Hizbullah, Nassrallah and Kurdistan, opposing Turkey):
www.inteldaily.com/?c=117&a=4646
[And, then, text of the resolutions to which I referred in the above link, NOT explicitly stated in my initial post:
"...3.The International Anti-imperialist Conference expresses its deep concern over the US bullying of people of Lebanon and the US-backed Israeli threat to Lebanon’s sovereignty and extends its full support to the Lebanese resistance led by Hizbullah and others against US-Zionist interference regarding Lebanese sovereignty, independence and security.
This Conference conveys it deep admiration and respect to the courageous and militant Lebanese resistance led by Hizbullah and its leader Mr. Hassan Nassrallah, for achieving this tremendous victory facing the US-Israeli brutal and devastating aggression against Lebanon.
Such victory is to teach the free people of the world a historic lesson in defending their countries and their rights against imperialist policies and aggressions.
4.The International Anti-imperialist Conference condemns the attacks of the fascist dictatorship of Turkey to oppress and liquidate the revolutionary and nationalist movements in Turkey, as exemplified by the attacks on the Marxist Leninist Communist Party of Turkey and North Kurdistan, the revolutionary forces and the Kurdish national movement.
This Conference demands the release of all political prisoners, in particular the 10 September prisoners, and withdrawal of conviction of communists.
This Conference condemns the fascist dictatorship’s policy of denial and annihilation of Kurdish nation and its policy of occupation of South Kurdistan.
5.The International Anti-imperialist Conference demands that the USA immediately cease its diplomatic and military moves to attack Iran and impose sanctions.
This Conference expresses its solidarity with the Iranian people’s struggle to protect their sovereignty from imperialist attack.
We condemn India’s siding with USA in voting against Iran in International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA)... ]

And, then, I return to the latest update as reported, HERE, about the Mexican Electrical Workers struggle to save their NATIONALIZED electrical company from privatization.
Remember THAT?
Well, look who just arrived on the scene in Mexico under auspices of labor Solidarity.
Our United Suckers and Assholes FASCIST FRONT, COVERT labor organization, our AFL-CIA International Dept and ILO affiliate, as part of a broader labor delegation.
Whenever one sees them, you must run in the opposite direction.
They are the kiss of death.
They are there ONLY to compromise, co-opt, ameliorate, pacify, assuage, mollify, negotiate whatever existing struggle exists against private capital and help them "adjust" to the realities of privatization.
I excerpted from the link below the following, because, as you will note, a PRINCIPLED demand and opposition to privatization has completely disappeared.
Missing in action.
Replaced, instead...
"...As a delegation, we expressed our concern about the rule of law and the application of the NAFTA side agreements and the ILO standards.”.... ....Dinkelaker believes that the delegation’s demonstration of solidarity in Mexico was needed. “I hope that this latest development with the SME will act as an international wake-up call for solidarity. If we allow these kinds of actions to take place, then not only will Mexico’s independent unionism be set back many years, but we will all end up at the bottom of the barrel with them.
“Fighting for universal standards and for human rights will provide a foundation for building a world where no matter where capital goes, it must respect labor rights and human rights.”..."
FROM:
Of course, the role of a competing, privatized electrical company and collaborative union in Mexico, aggressively undermining the struggle above, as reported elsewhere, BELOW, is amongst the disappeared from OUR reports.
You can rest assured, OUR delegation is there to make sure THOSE private interests, and, probably, most likely, their own pension fund investments, are NOT threatened, challenged by ANY alternative, militant, Mexican labor strike, organization, opposition and resistance to privatization.
They function as State Dept, CIA, covert liaisons, operatives for compromise and cooperation, just as those above in the misnomer Anti-Imperialist coalition AND following along the pattern of IRAQ's newly minted, AFL-CIA cloned, ILO affiliated Oil Union and USLAW (US Labor Against War):

The preceding link, above, came from my November 14, 2009 post:
It is and was they who MOST sabotaged possibilities for a BROAD, PRINCIPLED, UNIFIED, NATIONAL SINGLE PAYER medical insurance movement, here, by utilizing their many resources to ACTIVELY lobby and organize AGAINST Single Payer with divide and conquer techniques and a bogus, red herring, public option and/or any other plan.
THEY torpedoed Single Payer.
THEY BETRAYED US and, of course, in the long run, their own class constituents, as well.
They act AGAINST their and our own PRINCIPLED class self-interests while HYPOCRITICALLY, cynically, simultaneously, purporting to represent it/us/those interests.
And, THAT IS THE/MY POINT.
And, that point is made very well below, in the very last paragraph, but, NOT about our labor union leadership, to which it applies MOST, but, instead, the Democrats, with whom, however, our collaborative unions are aligned.
And, these are the POLICIES, PATTERN OF BEHAVIOUR, which nobody wishes to expose and confront, because, after all, then our labor organizations will lose their efficacy, viability, function, cover, legitimacy, clout as both domestic and foreign covert agents, operatives for PRIVATE CAPITAL.
And, here's the quote to which I am referring above about Single Payer in Congress at the end from the link below.
Substitute the word PRINCIPLED for FUNDAMENTAL, if you wish.
They are interchangeable words, concepts, meaning within the following context AND apply TO ALL ABOVE, AS WELL.
MY emphasis in BOLD:
"...But at least Burris had it right when he took to the Senate floor tonight and quoted Gandhi on compromise.
“All compromise is based on give and take,” Gandhi said. “But there can be no give and take on fundamentals. Any compromise on mere fundamentals is a surrender. For it is all give and no take.”
