DANA GAS; ROCKEFELLER; GREECE & PHANTOM OF THE OPERA AGAIN & AGAIN & AGAIN

Returning again and again to some favorite subject matter, perennial themes.

First, infamous and relatively newly minted DANA GAS, because, I read somewhere DANA's Board Chairman changed from Iraq traitor extraordinaire Hamid JAFAR to another DANA BOARD member, equally horrific.

Of course, another member of former Iraq Jafar clan, a Jafar son, sits on DANA Board.

It did NOT say IF Father Hamid remains a Board member, although, it makes NOT much difference either way.

Merely a technicality.

I did a previous post on another DANA/ABRAAJ PARTNERED Investment Firm Board member named Arif NAQVI and wondered, speculated, then, IF DANA/ABRAAJ NAQVI is related to, or, perhaps, even, same person as, former NAQVI of now defunct previous BCCI FAME?
Most likely answer being yes, representing a BCCI (Bank of Criminals & Crooks International) continuum.

PHANTOM OF THE OPERA

Finally, to end on a more uplifting cultural, musical note, a respite, mental health moment, away from this political, reptilian brained, primordial trash and filth above.

I found on youtube a LINK below presenting a FULL movie length VERSION of the 25th gala Anniversary Performance of the Phantom of the Opera.
UNFORTUNATELY, TO ME it was NOT consistently audible.
PERHAPS, with different internet connections and/or computers, you will be more lucky than I.
IF NOT, I strongly urge you find another way to see and hear it.
I guarantee you will NOT be disappointed.

It is an outstanding, superb, extraordinary, what I would label, OPERETTA with PROFOUND, INTENSE, EMOTIONAL PATHOS, TRAGEDY, unrequited love AND very QUESTIONABLE, profound, perplexing, aspects of what precisely constitutes love.

NO MELODRAMA!

Story line alone, for example, MINUS music, would NOT render for such intense and profound emotional responses.

A real tearjerker.
Not a dry eye in the house.

It represents a magnificent, PERFECT, combination of elevated, exquisite, music, singing, coupled with acting and story line that MAKES it a superb gem, classic, brilliant, masterpiece, lasting forever.

I ask anyone and everyone reading this having seen, or, to see it, do YOU believe it could, should, have ended differently?
Did/does CHOICE exist??

P.S.

For those who MIGHT complain, argue with me they want to ESCAPE from too much REAL pathos, drama, tragedy, misery, I remind everyone THEATRE IS NOT REAL.
That being THE point of it all.
Theatre, fiction, represents catharsis, entertainment, a respite from reality, hopefully with exquisite CHARACTERIZATIONS, music, costuming, staging, CRAFT, art, etc.

But, for those who MIGHT prefer their musical drama more closely approximating reality, a repertoire exists from which to chose.
One that IMMEDIATELY POPS TO MY MIND being Alban Berg's musical opera, "Wozzeck," a brilliant, unique, but, exquisitely real, brutal, PAINFUL experience.
For now, I opt for a bittersweet Phantom.
