Speaking of political cooking recipes, since our bi-annual NAZI midterm s-election extravaganza, entertainment, theatre and three ring circus operates in full swing at the moment, I will say SOMETHING about it beyond the OBVIOUS, that is, IT REPRESENTS THE BEST GOVERNMENT MONEY BUYS and PRIVATE PROPERTY PROTECTION AND SUBSIDIZATION RACKET.

One more cultural note to add, prompted by a 1985 classic film I just happened to watch, "Ran," a King Lear adaptation, directed by Japan's Akira Kurosawa.
I began reminiscing about another, different sort of Japanese classic and possibly finest Japanese film ever made and I watched, namely, the stunning, breathtaking, 1964 parable, "Woman in the Dunes."
I went to find this film in its entirety on youtube but could NOT.
I came up mostly with excerpts and clips, unfortunately.
I highly urge anyone who still may not have seen it to do so.
